The role
As an Administration Clerk you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. Reporting to the Administration Manager you'll be part of the team responsible for providing administrative support to the Aviator Training Academy.
Day to day, you'll be responsible for the following:
- General wing administration
- Maintaining wing absence/recall list
- Collating and submitting monthly returns and stats
- Completing stationary orders, Conference Room bookings, daily drop off/pick up of mail and distribution
- Support to and acting as PA for the Commandant Aviator Training Academy (Comdt AvTA) and all associated duties this position requires.
- Diary management, transport booking, coordination of phone calls/e-mails during the absence of Comdt AvTA
This role is part time and based onsite at RAF Halton. Contractual hours are 25-hours per week 09:00am - 14:00pm Monday to Friday.
Essential experience of the Administration Clerk
- Good knowledge of general office administrative processes and activities.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of the military environment.
Qualifications for the Administration Clerk

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
