We are recruiting an Administration Officer for one of our automotive clients based in Cranfield.
You will be working for a globally recognised automotive company. This is a long-term contract role. The contract is on an ongoing basis a may run for several years.
Key Responsibilities of the Administration Officer:
• Support certification delivery for client s responsible products.
• Administration / Technical support certification understanding on Homologation documentation through to final certification.
• Cross functional working with sections/departments within the AMEO region
• Supporting Homologation team with the technical Services in meetings, information requests and supporting documents.
• Support program delivery with engineers to meet certification schedules.
• Support Internal tasks set within the technical officer s team, Budget, data collection, internal processes, and basic technicalities on design input.
• Work within the client s mindsets for capability and customer service
• Support EMAC database for Homologation document creation.
• Support with documentation for markets which require their own technical standards and formatting.
• Use of electronic transfer systems to send and receive documents to authorities.
• Monitor document dispatch and return, file electronically and hardcopy.
• Cross functional working with other sections/departments.
• Cross cultural working with other entities and Homologation representatives.
• General duties and support within the dept.
• Support with managing internal processes making sure correct standards are followed.
• Support with feedback through verbal and written communication in the life of the certification period.
• Support with tracking, monitoring, and reporting on assigned tasks
Qualifications & Experience for the Administration Officer:
• Good level of educations high GCSE / A level or equivalent studies.
• Previous homologation or related experience an advantage within Automotive.
• Roles which were process driven with attention to detail.
• A very good understanding with PC Skills.
• Experience to show good organisation skills, attention to detail and evidence of working un-der pressure.
• IT literate, competent user of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Have ability to prioritise and multitask between multiple tasks simultaneously
• Be self-motivating and self-managing. Pro-active, Positive, Energetic personality and flexi-ble regarding working practice and working hours.
• Empathy and transparency when working with other employees on project cycle activities.
• Good attention to detail for Application document and certification.
Hours & Pay for the Administration Officer:
• Monday to Friday
• 39 hours per week
