- Processing and distributing incoming mail to colleagues which comprises of writs, summonses, simplified divorces, enquiries and other documents.
- Creating and updating records on our in-house computer system and data input
- Producing court documents
- Preparing files for court hearings
- General photocopying and filing
- Dealing with numerical calculations
- Accounting for monies in accordance with financial guidelines
- undertake light portering duties as required
- Will have regular contact with court users, including members of the Judiciary and the legal profession. As such you be required to competently answer queries giving consistent and reliable advice.
- Work within a team with regular management support and will be responsible for your own time.
- May be required to provide advice to colleagues and carry out limited supervision of others.
- Assist with preparing statistical information and other returns to ensure standards of work meet the agreed level.
- Assist in clearing up of criminal courts by preparing court minutes, issuing letters, ordering reports and filing complaints as necessary.
- Process and enter fine payments onto computer system and reconcile at month end.
