Location: Altrincham Health and Well-Being Centre, 33 Market Street Altrincham WA14 1RZ

Hours: Full Time

What you’ll be responsible for:

· Responsible for the provision of a booking appointment service using Patient Centre, electronic scanning equipment and fax machines.

· Managing a number of waiting lists and clinic booking summaries whilst providing a confidential, efficient and user-friendly service.

· Responsible for receiving, processing, scanning, and forwarding of theatre request agreeing, amending, and issuing appointments.

· Ensuring that all processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient appointment booking service.

You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS

2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times

3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You’ll have the following skills/experience:

· Excellent communication skills

· Previous admin experience

· Ability to work to strict deadlines.

· Experience of Microsoft packages
