Venesky-Brown's client, a public sector organisation in Glasgow, is currently looking to recruit a Business Administrator for as soon as possible for an initial 6-month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £11.95/hour PAYE (35 hours per week). The role will be based onsite. Candidates must have a PVG in place to work with young adults and children. Responsibilities:- Assist the Performance Team in the planning and administration of its annual work programme. - Provide administrative support to the Director of Excellence and the Associate Director. - Support the Performance team in the planning and day to day delivery of their annual work programme. - Support key Performance meetings by preparing relevant agendas, making meeting arrangements, taking Minutes and disseminating information following meetings. - Support the planning of events associated with the work of the Performance - Department and external reviews. - Develop and maintain data and information associated with the achievement of external quality marks, including the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). - Assist with the preparation of documentation for key projects, including external quality audits. - Maintain a section of the intranet to ensure information on our team is kept up to date and accurate. - Develop and maintain spreadsheet 'trackers' recording College policies and procedures and updating regularly. - Assist with collation and statistical analysis of Quality Documentation including Committee papers and all relevant annexes, reports, graphs, charts and research. - Support the administration, collation and presentation of questionnaires to staff, students and other customer groups. - Assist with the arrangements and administration for SQA and other awarding bodies' external examinations. - Ensure awarding body quality assurance guidelines are followed in the transport and set up of examination events. - Set up online on-demand examinations as required by academic departments. - Assist in sourcing exam invigilators and making arrangements for their attendance and maintain records of payments. - Assist with the administration of awarding body activity. - Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track information for exam plans and quality verification activity. - Disseminate assessment material and maintain an internal register. - Assist with the dissemination of information as directed by the Compliance Manager. Essential Skills:- Evidence of continuous professional development - Previous experience of working. within a Quality/Administrative role. - Excellent IT skills, with a working knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel and Databases - Good communication, liaison and networking skills - Work flexibly to accommodate the needs of awarding body and professional examinations. - Good written and verbal communication skills If you would like to hear more about this opportunity, please get in touch.
