The Job:
On behalf of our client, who are a charity based in central Bristol, we are seeking an Administrator + Communications Officer to join them on a full time and permanent basis. This is a incredibly varied role and is an administration role to support their team, who are based in central Bristol. Your role will be support the team with day to day administration.
Responsibilities will include:
- Managing Google Business Suite
- Setting up IT systems for new staff
- Supporting events including organising travel, logistics and researching and booking venues
- Ensuring all supplies in the office are maintained including supplies for their events and conferences
- Basic amendments on their website (WordPress)
- Compliance, Cyber Security and GDPR
- Communicating with their membership network via a quarterly newsletter
- Answering the telephone and communicating with parents, members or stakeholders
- Supporting administration for their national annual conference
The Person:
For this role our client is seeking the following skills and experience:
- Previous administration ideally (not essential) in the charity industry
- Confident communication skills
- Excellent written skills and accuracy
- Confident IT skills (Excel is essential, as you will setting up new documents, flagging deadlines on projects)
- An interest in working for a charity
The Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm
