Pertemps Dundee are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-known Public Sector organisation, for a full-time Business Support Assistant to start immediate temporary contract. The office is based in Forfar, working hours 08:45-17:00 Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will have a strong administration background with experience in dealing with highly sensitive information, excellent communication and customer service skills, will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. Minute taking skills would be advantageous but client is happy to train the successful candidate to minute complex meetings.
As Business Support Assistant (Level 2) you will contribute the delivery of a comprehensive Business Support service by undertaking a range of Business Support duties which will typically include the following:Monitor mailbox and deal with requestsAnswer phones for the teamTake notes and/or Minute meetings over teams or face to face meetingsDistribute reports/minutes with covering letterHandle sensitive information requires particular attention to GDPRAssist the clear out/archiving of filesUse of Microsoft packagesUse of Eclipse package to update and upload informationIssue and recording of Petty cashProcess F9's for paymentsProcess invoicesAssist in creating and amending processes for the teamInvolved in team meetingsTo be considered for this role, you must have the following:Experience of working in an office environmentExcellent minute taking skills or be willing to learnAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesAbility to deal with highly sensitive informationGood oral and written communication skillsFast typing SpeedExperience of Microsoft packagesAdaptable to changeExperience of dealing with the publicIf you are interested in this role please apply with your CV online or alternatively call Agata Cygan on (phone number removed) for an informal chat
