Firmin Recruit is currently seeking an experienced administrator to join our Logistics client based in Sittingbourne, Kent.
Hours: 8.30 - 5.30 pm Monday - Friday

The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our team. As an Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Support the management team in producing weekly & monthly reports when necessary and general administration duties including customer services.
Suitable Candidate:
The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and proficient in various office software and tools.
- Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist with inputting timesheets to our computer system and maintaining sickness and holiday records.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls
- General Administration duties
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed
- Maintain office supplies, and inventory and place orders when necessary
- Familiarity with Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides) for document creation and collaboration
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software programs -
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role within a transport environment is desirable
- Ability to work well both on your own and as part of a team
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
