Our client is a fast growing logistics company specialising in freight distribution and warehousing for exclusive luxury brands in Tilbury, Essex. A new position has opened up in their Customer Service department and they are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join them.

The successful Admin Assistant w ill have advanced Excel skills.

Admin Assistant Duties:

• Provide general administrative assistance to the customer service department.
• Debriefing drivers
• Dealing with incoming customer queries via telephone and email
• Using external portals
• Investigating any issues from customers and internally
• Creating collections on system and reporting any issues
• Inputting data and creating orders
• Producing reports depending on the businesses need's
• Raising Purchase Orders
• Accurate processing of orders through our warehouse management system
• Maintain and monitor stock levels
• Making sure all invoices are summited to accounts with the correct data and on time
• Producing Pre-invoices for customers

Admin Assistant Skills/Experience:

• Strong administration and data entry skills
• A strong knowledge of excel is a must - Pivot tables etc
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Be Computer Literate, able to use Microsoft Office Suite and able learn news systems

Knowledge of the logistics industry is desirable

Salary: Up to £26k per year
