Windmill9 Consulting are working with a long-established independent Estate Agency based in Market Harborough who currently have an opportunity for a Lettings Administrator / Property Manager to look after a variety of residential, commercial and agricultural properties.
Centrally based, the company specialise in residential Sales & Lettings together with Commercial property, Land and Estate management. This would be a great opportunity for an experienced Lettings Agent to develop their knowledge or for a trainee to jump in at the deep end and train with with one of the regions most reputable brands.
The Job:
This is a varied and interesting role where no two days will be the same, main duties will include;
- Negotiating Lettings offers
- Marketing properties
- Conducting viewings
- Undertaking schedule of conditions and inventories
- Preparing tenancy agreements and relevant paperwork
- Arranging contractors to carry out Maintenance
- Organising the relevant invoices where necessary
- Ensuring the portfolio is compliant with current legislation
- Conducting Property inspections
- Check outs and negotiating deposits
Must haves:
- A full UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential for this role as you will often be required to visit properties. Parking is provided in town a short walk from the office
- Computer literate - Word, Excel, Outlook
- Good time and diary management
Although we are ideally looking for applicants with previous Lettings & Property Management experience, our client has also indicated that they may also consider applications from candidates with strong Customer Service, Scheduling and Negotiating experience that could be transferred to a role such as this.
