UCL School of Pharmacy is one of the world’s leading centres of excellence for pharmaceutical science, education and professional engagement.
The Teaching & Learning Team (T&L) provides a professional administrative support and information service to students, staff, enquirers and external stakeholders with regards admissions, induction, assessment, timetabling, teaching and learning, student records and quality assurance. T&L comprises of 15 staff and is led by the Student and Academic Support Manager in conjunction with her three deputies: the Admissions and Student Services Manager, the Placements and Partnerships Manager and the Assessment and Programmes Manager.
About the Role
The post holder will be a key member of the Teaching & Learning Team and will be required to establish good working relationships with School and UCL staff with whom they will work closely. The role involves significant contact and communication with applicants, students, staff and external stakeholders and a polite, helpful and responsive approach is essential. The post holder will be proactive, flexible and solutions-driven, being able to work both independently and as part of a team. The post holder will provide administrative support to students on a professional programme and staff in relation to academic programme administration, selection and admission, induction, assessment and regulations, fitness to practise, events, open days and School committees.
This is a Grade 6 role.
This is a fixed-term role until 7th February 2025. UCL secondments are also very welcome to apply and will be considered, the secondment is until 7th February 2025.
We will consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible.
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on site.

About You
The post holder will be educated to A level or equivalent and will have worked in an administrative role in a Higher Education institution or similar educational environment, focussing on programme support or admissions.
We are looking for a flexible team member with administrative, organisational and prioritisation skills who can work to competing deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal and IT skills and will be able to deal with a wide range of students, staff and external stakeholders in a professional, polite and proactive manner.
