Job Overview:
Unitemps are seeking three detail-oriented and customer-focused individuals to join our team as an Admissions Assistant. In this role, you will play a key part in assisting with the admissions process and providing support to prospective students. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
The role of the Admissions Assistant will be to support the Admissions Team during the Clearing period over the Summer months, which is an extremely busy time. Those appointed to the role will have a good track record of excellent customer service and experience of data entry in a previous role would be very beneficial. The work involved is ensuring that those who contact the University to gain a place in Clearing provide all the necessary information required with their application. Checks are made and qualifications are recorded in our Student Information System and therefore attention to detail is key to the role. Some knowledge of UK qualifications and how the UCAS system for applicants works, would be a bonus, but full training will be provided.
Must have excellent customer service skills coupled with good communication skills and be IT literate.
This role is temporary full time for four months from 3rd June 2024
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £12.86 per hour
Expected hours: 36.25 per week
