We have some exciting opportunities available at Barking and Dagenham College. We are looking for an Admissions Onboarder to join our Admissions & Onboarding team.
You will join us on a full-time, 36 hpw, permanent basis; however part-time hours would be considered for a minimum of 20 hpw.
In return, we will offer a competitive full-time salary of £27,590 - £29,761 (pro-rata if part time) pa inc London Weighting.
The Admissions Onboarderrole:
To provide an efficient, customer service focused and data compliant service to admit and onboard applicants to BDC. This role will assess applications, make offers, support students through enrolment and provide customer service to applicants to support their admission, from initial application through to induction. The post holder will be required to have a keen eye for data accuracy, and a desire to provide outstanding customer service in person and through digital and telephone channels.
Key Responsibilities of ourAdmissions Onboarder:
Administer the Colleges policies and procedures in relation to the admission and enrolment of learners to the College.
Handle and respond to applicant queries around the status of their application, advising them of next steps and ensuring all enquiries are responded to in an efficient and timely manner.
Proactively communicate with groups of applicants around the stages of their applications and next steps.
Our ideal Admissions Onboardershould have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- General level of education to at least Level 3 or equivalent
- Evidence of participation in appropriate training and development
- Experience of high volume administrative work
- Experience of working in a fast paced, customer service focussed team
