The Opportunity:
We are looking for an Admissions Operations Assistant to work with the University’s central admissions team on a wide range of activities that support prospective applicants to the University.
The SRA admissions team is responsible for supporting all aspects of admissions at the University of Edinburgh, in an ever-changing environment. We’re looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team to help us in delivering major scheduled work such as Clearing and annual degree finder updates, as well as supporting the team with reactive project work which arises throughout the year. You will also support on-going activity including providing administration of committees, enquiries, Freedom of Information requests (FOIs), appeals and complaints.
Your skills and attributes for success:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant work-based experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills, and ability to work with and manipulate data
- An understanding of confidentiality, and data privacy requirements
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
