This role has a starting salary between £44,614 to £47,681 per annum based on a 36 hour working week.

About the Role
This position sits within our West Surrey Team, based in Guildford.
We are looking for a competent Senior Social Worker to join our Allocations Team working with complex cases in order to meet their desired outcomes. This includes legal court work, partnership working with our health colleagues, completing Section 42 enquiries and supervising junior members of the team to ensure a high quality standard of service is provided.

Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence your substantial post-qualification professional experience as a Social Worker and your experience of providing professional supervision.
In addition to the above, we would also love to hear about:
- Your understanding and experience of working in a strengths-based approach
- Your knowledge and experience of current legislation such as The Care Act and The Mental Capacity Act
- Your experience of undertaking safeguarding enquiries and examples of you using your professional judgement in complex situations
