Company Introduction:
Our client is looking for Developers with expertise in AEM/CQ5 and a programming language (either front end, back end or both). You MUST be able to work on-site in Birmingham, UK, five days a week, for the duration of the contract.
Required Skills/Experience:
Strong proficiency in AEM development and admin.
Strong proficiency in a Frontend (Typescript/Javascript, React, Next.js, and Webpack etc.) OR Backend (Java, Python) programming language.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
Experience with performance optimisation and web accessibility standards.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling, such as Terraform.
Hands-on experience architecting, designing, and developing applications on cloud platforms like AWS - (Familiarity with SkyFoundry is advantageous).
Familiarity with Apache Sling, OSGi, and headless CMS architecture.
Proficiency in software development principles and best practices.
Experience with performance optimisation, security, and scalability of backend systems.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and mentor junior developers effectively.
