Your new role
An opportunity has arisen for an Affordable Housing Development Manager to join the team, working across the wider Southwest region from offices in either Bristol, Cheltenham or Reading. You will assist your Director with the delivery of affordable homes across the company, adhering to contractual and planning requirements, budget and timescales to meet the overall objectives of the company. You will advise affordable revenues, negotiate contracts with registered provider clients and liaise with local authorities regarding their housing requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
This would be a fantastic role for you if you have previous experience within a housing association, residential house builder, developer or a local authority. You'll need to have some experience in the negotiation of section 106 agreements and Affordable Housing contracts, and will need to have a housing / construction background. A thorough understanding of the Housing Development process will be critical, as will strong project management and financial skills.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive basic salary of around £50,000 alongside a car allowance of £6,500 taking your total remuneration to £56,500 per year.
