About the role:
Astute’s Power team is partnering with an engineering company who specialise in Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems / Process Automation across the power sector.
This role will be working as a Field Service Engineer on various customer sites, predominantly heavy engineering (Waste Incineration and Chemical Plants), across the Southeast region and you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems.
This essential role working as a Field Service Engineer comes with a salary ranging from �40,000 - �48,000 + a bonus and a company car and fuel card.

Responsibilities and duties:
Reporting to the Field Service Manager you will:
* Planning site visits and going on-site for repairs, maintenance and support whilst trying to identify sales opportunities.
* Admin tasks in relation to site visits.
* Liaising with the Process Automation Manager, After Sales Manager and Sales engineers to identify service contract opportunities.
* Assist in the maintenance of the Quality Systems through upkeep of the Quality Documentation
Professional qualifications:
We are looking for someone with the following:
* To be considered for this position, you will need to have a relevant Electronics Engineering qualification (desirable, not a necessity).
* Proven experience in a similar role in Process Automation within Energy from Waste, Cement, Power, or any other heavy engineering industry.
* Ideally you will have experience with Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS), particularly focusing on Gas Monitoring.
Personal skills:
The Field Service Engineer role would suit someone who is:
* You must have a clean Full UK Driving Licence and be willing to travel nationally and internationally.
* Must be able to maintain customer relationships.
* Must be able to work autonomously and in a team environment.
