The job itself
we are looking for a creative and organised individual to manage our well-established After School Club which takes place on Monday to Friday each week from 3.15 until 6pm.
The ideal candidate will be able to work under the direction of the headteacher to:
- Prioritise the well-being and safety of pupils After School hours.
- Plan engaging and varied activities suitable for children aged 4- 11 years old
- Provide opportunities which spark children’s interest and enjoyment.
- Support pupils’ emotional and social well-being.
- Encourage and promote the inclusion of all children.
- Communicate well with parents and carers.
- Promote the school’s value and aims.
We are looking for someone that:
- Has experience of working with children
- Can form positive and caring relationships
- Motivates children to engage and get the most out of our after-school provision.
- Is committed to ensuring children are safe and happy.
- Treats everyone with kindness, fairness and dignity.
- Is able to implement organisational systems which ensure the smooth running of the provision.
