SalaryJob Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic After School Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of childcare professionals, planning and implementing fun and engaging activities, and creating a safe and nurturing environment for children After School hours.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of after-school professionals.
- Develop, plan, and implement fun and educational activities for children.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program.
- Collaborate with children, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on all aspects of the program.
Requirements:
- A Level 5 qualification in childcare/play work or working towards one.
- Previous experience working with children in an after-school setting.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of professionals.
- Passion for working with children and creating fun and engaging activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
