Excel Recruitment is looking for a experienced Cooks to work with our clients within their Nursing Homes in the Carrickfergus area.
This position would be great for a Cook or Chef who can work on their own initiative who has experience and who wants flexibility with their rota, with shifts from 1 to 5 per week available.
Cook Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience preparing and cooking in a busy kitchen environment
- HACCP Cert (Excel can supply this is needed)
- At times you may be required to help out front using the till
- As Cook you will have knowledge of all food safety guidelines
- Good level of spoken & written English
Cook Responsibilities
- Working in a busy kitchen following the Care Home instructions
- Work on your own section ensuring it is fully set for service
- Always cook food to the highest standard
- As Cook you will need to follow your supervisor’s instructions
- Consistently keep yourself and your work area in the kitchen clean
- Follow all health & safety as well as food safety guidelines
