SalaryI’m working with a global consultancy firm who specialise in the telecoms, media, and technology sectors. They are known for their deep domain knowledge and have a team of consultants and analysts with offices in 16 countries around the world.
They are looking for a Delivery Manager for their UK-based IT team providing technical projects for their operations.
You will need to be an agile enthusiast who can help promote Agile Delivery within the IT team.
Responsibilities:
- Track concurrent projects, provide updates to management, and ensure alignment with Agile delivery principles.
- Coordinate daily sprints across multiple teams, facilitating progress and adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Assist teams in overcoming project roadblocks within an Agile framework, fostering continuous improvement.
- Identify and propose Agile solutions for optimizing documentation workflow, and addressing gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies.
- Evaluate and analyze the end-to-end documentation process, applying Agile principles for enhancement and efficiency.
- Liaise to ensure Agile project alignment and collaboration.
- Monitor project capacity, holidays, and impacts while tracking Agile project processes, deliverables, and financials.
- Prepare and present Agile status reports to stakeholders, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards at the end of each sprint.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Scrum techniques and artifacts
- Familiarity with Azure Devops, Jira, MS Project, Asana, and Kanban boards
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in Scrum/SAFe ceremonies
- Ability to manage sprints effectively
- Training or coaching experience in Agile practices
- Strong communication and people management skills
- Experience managing project budgets
The role is remote with visits to Manchester and/or London when needed
