Position Overview:
They are seeking an established Delivery Lead with ideally at least 4 years of experience in a similar position. As an Agile Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful and timely delivery of software products while fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has a strong background in Agile Delivery, and possesses excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in prioritizing the backlog, which involves comprehending priorities and the requirements to support Product Owners and Business Analysts in their roles.
- Addressing impediments hindering the team's progress, whether they are technical, process-related, or access-related, whatever the specific issue may be.
- Serving as the bridge between other Scrum teams, ensuring that dependencies are coordinated and handled, often participating in Scrum of Scrums.
- Cultivating a culture of ongoing improvement within your immediate team and across broader program engagements.
- Monitoring team performance, including comparing forecasts to actual velocity, and conveying this information to senior stakeholders.
- Maintaining awareness of resource management by identifying skill or capability gaps within the team and bringing them to the attention of the delivery lead.
- Maintaining a high-level understanding of budget, scope, and timelines, collaborating with the delivery lead to manage and communicate these aspects to senior stakeholders.
