Agile Delivery Manager

Agile Delivery Managerrequired for a globally known organisation, based out of Fife.

The company and role:

They are a growing business with a truly worldwide reach. Based from Fife, the role will be part time office based and part time remote (3/2 split). You will be joining a team of three Delivery Managers in total (including yourself) and will work across the group, with a number of different stakeholders. You will work closely alongside an outsourced Development team, as well as an internal delivery team including Project Managers, Business Analysts and Delivery Managers.

The business operates across several countries and are in the process of reviewing all of the business services offerings. This role is sitting within the IT function and you will be a Delivery Manager/Project Manager/Product Manager with at least a few years of commercial experience, ideally with experience of successful project delivery across a global, professional organisation. Working closely alongside the software team, you will need to be comfortable across both Agile and Waterfall delivery - they use a combination of the two.

This role will be all about translating delivery, working across the software team, internal delivery team and other departments across the organisation. You will normally have a bit of technical understanding and need to understand what the "ask" is. Background wise, this role could suit either a Product Manager, Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master, with an interest in delivery.

You will be working alongside third parties going forward and will have a lot of client interaction. The business is going through a transformation of modernising their sport and making sure it is accessible for all backgrounds. You will be a key point of contact for the IT department and a number of other areas across the organisation.

Key Skills and Experience:

Strong software delivery knowledge, ideally from a Delivery Manager, Product Manager, Project Manager or Scrum Master background

Ability to take an active approach to monitor and evaluate the delivery of technical solutions.

Collaborate with the change team, through the end-to-end lifecycle of a project, working closely with them in the delivery of technical solutions, including input into the planning and governance, requirements, test plans and release management.

Able to lead on the creation of technical requirements, to ensure all requirements are documented appropriately.

Work closely alongside the Solution Architecture resource to ensure all solutions are being delivered and align to the architecture and technology framework

Background in both Agile and Waterfall delivery (ideally Scrum)

Experience of working with third parties and outsourced teams (bonus)

A fairly technical background - able to understand what the "ask" is

Be able to translate between the technical team and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to understand the design of a solution
