As a Senior Artificial Intelligence/Data Science Manager, you will help to design, implement, and test Machine Learning frameworks to support other engineers and researchers of the team. You will become part of a talented team exploring new concepts through fast iterative prototyping. You will collaborate as a computer vision and machine learning expert with our other machine learning engineers, platform engineers and research experts of the team.

A Day in the Life
Our computer vision/machine learning team is responsible for:
  • Overseeing a team of Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence engineers and scientists, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and ensuring successful project delivery.
  • Managing R&D and product projects from conception to completion by defining scope, plan, allocating resources and ensuring timely delivery and tracking risks.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the team, implementing best practices and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Engaging with key stakeholders, including partners and execute AI strategy within the team and ensure they are aligned with overall company objectives.
  • Upholding ethical standards in AI development and deployment, ensuring data security, transparency, and accountability in all AI-driven initiatives.
  • Communicating effectively AI concepts, strategies, and results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Staying updated on the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and healthcare technology through continuous learning, participation in conferences, workshops, and professional networks, and sharing knowledge with the team.
Must Haves
  • A Master or PhD in, Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Vision/Machine Learning or similar related field
  • Proficiency in AI, machine learning, and medical imaging technologies
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • The capacity to analyse complex problems, devise innovative solutions, and overcome challenges in AI development, deployment, and regulatory compliance
  • The ability to provide strategic direction, inspire and motivate team members, and effectively manage projects and resources
  • Proven ability of results driven application of machine learning
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, engineers, regulatory experts, and business stakeholders
  • Project management experience
Nice to Haves
  • Experience or familiarity with regulatory processes and standards related to medical devices and software
  • A track record of research publications in reputable journals or conferences in the fields of AI, machine learning, or medical computer vision
  • Proven knowledge of at least one of the main deep learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, Keras...)
  • Data visualization experience would also be useful for this role
  • Experience managing state-of-the-art research and research teams
