An established business in an exciting phase of growth, is looking for an Air Conditioning Mobile Lead Engineer ideally with experience in the building services industry. We’re looking for an engineer with experience of reactive and planned maintenance work on Air Conditioning systems and associated building services equipment. Covering mostly Hampshire, West Sussex, Surrey, and Berkshire areas along with some work in London airports.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Capable of mentoring other engineers.
- Solution orientated, putting the customers’ interests first.
- Confident in taking control of the situation and putting the customer at ease.
- A solid technical background and capable of reading and creating technical documentation.
- Able to inspire others to complete relevant paperwork to a high standard.
What’s involved:
- Planned preventative maintenance and fault finding of air-conditioning systems, generally within commercial office environments.
- Replacement of AC component parts, such as compressors, condensers, and PCB boards.
- Working with associated HVAC and building services equipment.
- Understanding ventilation plant, pumps, pressurisation units, domestic hot and cold-water systems, and general building controls would be beneficial.
- Documentation such as the completion of F-Gas Registers.
We’re looking for:
- F-Gas Cert - Cat 1 (ideally Cat 2 but not essential).
- NVQ level 2 (Level 3 would be ideal).
- At least 5 years’ experience as a qualified Air Conditioning service engineer.
- CSCS Cert ideally but can be gained in post.
- A problem solver with an eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexible and positive approach to work.
- Someone who is willing to learning new skills.
- High standard of workmanship.
- PASMA & IPAF would be beneficial but not essential.
Salary £40-55K depending on experience and qualifications.
Working 37.5 hours a week + overtime. The business offers 25 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays, workplace pension and health cover. Call-out Rota 1 in 6 weeks £120 + min 4 hours. Travel pay, company phone, van and fuel card.
