SalaryFreightserve recruitment are looking for a Air Import Manager for a well established Freight company. The position is based in the Colnbrook area.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Personally process customs entries, not just delegation of duties
- Perform custom clearance entries for all Air import shipments
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the processes and procedures
- Improve effectiveness and efficiency of processes and procedures ensuring checks are in put into place
- Manage and lead the Imports team
- Ensure 100% compliance with HMRC policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with other departments
Essential experience:-
- Management and leadership experience
- Previous Air Import experience
- Must be proficient in using CDS
- Able to multi-task, work under pressure and meet set deadlines
