The role
As an Aircraft Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary, this role is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contract providing class leading support to the UK Ministry of Defence. An interesting, dynamic, and rewarding role utilising specialist skill whilst operating within a small team, albeit being part of a much bigger international organisation.

Day to day you'll support all aircraft engineering, line, and depth maintenance as well as:

  • General duties as required, including (but not limited to), aircraft cleaning, housekeeping, Flight-line operations i.e., Preparation of aircraft for daily flying, "see-in" and "see-off", fuel and oil replenishment and other responsibilities as allocated by the LAE.
  • Schedule servicing and corrective maintenance and all other engineering related activities and services on Company Aircraft and Equipment including Check A maintenance as required to always meet or exceed customer expectations and LAFT2 contractual needs.

Relevant experience in an aircraft maintenance environment and

  • Have successfully completed a recognised apprenticeship or period of formal training and
  • Have current experience of the aircraft/component type or have recent practical experience of aircraft of comparable structure, systems including engines.

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Benson

Qualifications for the Aircraft Technician:
Successfully completed a recognised aviation apprenticeship or similar training.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS/SC security clearance for this role.
