Role Overview:

As a Pulse Air Permeability Tester, your primary responsibility is to evaluate the airtightness of buildings and enclosures. This assessment helps improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and overall building performance.
You’ll work closely with construction professionals, architects, and building owners to ensure compliance with air leakage standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct airtightness tests using the Pulse system.
Set up the Pulse unit centrally within the building or enclosure.
Perform measurements at low pressure (approximately 4Pa) to simulate real-world conditions.
Assess air leakage rates and enclosure integrity.
Determine the air change rate representative of normal inhabited conditions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret test results and recommend improvements.
Ensure compliance with building regulations (such as Part L1A) and retrofit guidelines (such as PAS 2035).
