Role overview We are seeking an Alumni and Employer Engagement Manager to join our team and drive engagement with our alumni community and corporate partners. This role is hybrid between London and homeworking. Reporting to the Head of Careers and Employability, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to enhance engagement with our Higher Education alumni community and establishing partnerships with employers to create recruitment opportunities for our students. About LIBF The London Institute of Banking and Finance (LIBF), a distinguished institution with a legacy of providing top-tier education and qualifications since 1879, is entering an exciting new chapter. Through our recent partnership with IU Group (Europe’s largest EdTech company), the number of course offerings are expanding into new areas and with this the Careers Service is also significantly growing. Therefore, this is an exciting opportunity to be a part of LIBF and help shape a proactive, innovative and scalable Careers Service, with links to IU counterparts in Germany and Canada. Key responsibilities Your principal activities will include: Alumni Engagement: Develop and implement a range of services and events for our alumni community to promote engagement and increase alumni participation in the LIBF’s activities. Collaborate with the Head of Careers to ensure a high response rate on the Graduate Outcomes survey and other key surveys. Event Management Manage the alumni referral program Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted alumni communications and marketing campaigns. This could include newsletters, social media content, and email marketing. Seek and implement best practice from relevant networks Employer Relationships Management: Develop, strengthen and pro-actively account manage new employer relationships Engage employers and alumni in successful partnerships to create an innovative programme of activities and events in conjunction with the Careers Advisers. Generate work related learning opportunities for students and recent graduates. Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to create programmes that align with employers To be successful in this role, you will have: Strong relationship-building skills Experience in alumni engagement and/or Employer Engagement Knowledge of the banking and finance industry and recruitment landscape Project management skills Strong communication and data management skills Ability to take full ownership of projects and a can do/positive attitude.
