What role will you play?

You will conduct research on the energy transition, including reviews of trends in specific sectors, geographies, and key cross-cutting themes. You’ll be a good writer and experienced in producing high-quality content, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis, in a variety of formats tailored to use and audience. A natural collaborator, comfortable working with different types of colleagues across a diverse and global business, you’ll be confident in your ability to deliver timely, actionable insights, internally and in client facing engagements. You’ll also be comfortable engaging external stakeholders to gather information and opinions on the latest trends and continue to build knowledge and subject-matter expertise.

What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-4 years experience working as a market analyst, consultant or researcher in the areas of energy, energy transition, sustainable finance, policy and/or economics; or a Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in and enthusiasm for the energy transition and climate action.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, summarising and quantitative reasoning skills.
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to learn quickly and be a resourceful self-starter.
  • Keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, and ability to work on multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools (e.g. Python, SQL
  • and / or data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is desirable
  • Spanish/Portuguese language desirable.
