Reed Scientific is partnering with a well established global organisation providing solutions to the agrochemical sector. They are now looking for a scientist keen to further develop their analytical skills including extraction methodology and chromatographic techniques.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing, optimising and validating analytical methods
- Using LC-MS/MS and GC/MS techniques
- Working to the GLP regulations
- Homogenise, extract, clean-up and analyse crop and soil samples
- Assisting in a variety of projects
- Reviewing data for accuracy, completeness and compliance
- Drafting study reports
The candidate:
- BSc level degree or higher in Chemistry, Forensic and Analytical Science, Environmental Chemistry, or similar
- Analytical chemistry experience working in a laboratory
- Analytical laboratory skills or knowledge of LC-MS/MS and GC/MS
- Experience working to GLP regulations is desired, but not required
- Excellent communication skills
