LOCATION: Apply Digital is hybrid/remote-friendly. The preferred candidate should be based in the United Kingdom, working in hours that align to GMT.
THE ROLE:
You will function as part of a world-class Data & Analytics team, working with clients across the UK, Europe and beyond. Working remotely and from the Apply Digital London office, the Analytics Implementation Consultant helps ensure Apply Digital is delivering consistent and high-quality digital Analytics Implementations and other analytics infrastructure solutions to help our clients on their digital transformation.
With sound numeric and technical skills, and a keen interest in emerging web technologies, you will help support, implement, and maintain analytics solutions for our clients. You’ll also partner with other disciplines on documenting, training, and promoting analytics and data practices. This role is an excellent opportunity to hone your skill-sets with cutting edge technologies, while supporting our global client base.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the development and implementation of robust, scalable analytics systems and understand how to leverage their capabilities
- Deploy and maintain data collection across both web and mobile apps for our clients
- Be one of our Analytics Implementation experts with Google Analytics (GA4 migration)
- Work with clients’ Digital teams, Marketing teams, and IT teams to formulate data collection strategies for key product releases
- Provide quality assurance assistance to ensure accuracy of data collection
- Work closely with business partners to develop informative reporting dashboards that generate insights and meet key business objectives
- Support in the creation of presentations and recommendations to senior management, business teams, and develop plans to help operationalise analytic solutions.
- Keep up to date with the latest technical trends and industry best practices, with an opportunity to influence the direction for the Data & Analytics Discipline.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- 3-5+ years of experience supporting implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance of digital analytics tools with some focus on developing and delivering actionable insights reports
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript related to analytics tagging with Google Tag Manager (preferred) and/or other similar technologies
- Experience in Google Analytics 4 and Firebase Analytics implementation & maintenance
- Proficient at identifying, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within the Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager products suite
- Confident in client-facing communication, with strong communication skills and comfortable speaking with business executives or deep technical experts
- Has a solid understanding of data Layer implementation best practices
- Experience with Tableau or Looker Studio for dashboard design
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with Agile, SCRUM, and JIRA processes - (preferred)
- Experience with mobile app development code and processes (SWIFT, C#, Java)
- Experience with session replay tools and with A/B or multivariate experimentation
- Ability to conduct requirements gathering interviews
- Knowledge of data modeling, architecture principles, and techniques is an asset.
