Analytics Implementation Specialist

The Role 
The Analytics Implementation Specialist owns the process flow and creation of digital data to support analysts in their delivery of best-in-class insight across Haven's sites and apps. You will be joining the company at a very exciting time, being part of the rapidly growing Product & Technology function; we are at a scale-up stage in our journey with an exciting roadmap ahead. You will: 
- Own, enhance and scale the process for digital data implementation across all Haven websites and apps, working closely with product managers across all our squads to prioritise work streams;
- Create tracking/ data layer specifications for our web and app engineers, working with them and performing QA once changes are built;
- Be responsible for all analytics/ marketing tagging build and QA in Google Tag Manager, ensuring full legal compliance using our Consent Management Platform and working with engineers to optimise impact on site performance;
- Monitor data quality, investigating discrepancies and issues;
- Work with data engineers to ensure digital data is fed into the wider ecosystem, including our Customer Data Platform and personalisation partner;
- Keep up to date with new implementation methods and technologies, proactively highlighting areas of potential improvement for the future.

The Location 
Fully flexible, remote-first in mind with willingness to meet face-to-face on a needs basis.  

We have Product & Technology team members working fully remote across the length of the UK, some overseas. Others enjoy a blend of working from home with a couple of days in our recently renovated Hemel Hempstead office. The choice is yours! Furthermore, we actively encourage trips to our parks to understand and enjoy the experience first-hand; twice a year we do so as a whole Product & Technology team. 

What we would like you to bring 
While we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, continual on-the-job training and coaching will be provided. Initially we are looking for: 
- An expert in Google Tag Manager (preferably with experience in server-side GTM) and the configuration of one or more digital analytics tools across websites and apps (Amplitude, Google Analytics, etc);
- An understanding of the wider marketing stack (Google, Facebook, etc) and implementation of associated pixels;
- Strong understanding and advocacy of privacy requirements where they relate to digital data, with experience in OneTrust or similar Consent Management Platform;
- At least a basic knowledge of front-end coding languages (Javascript, HTML, CSS);
- Strong stakeholder management, prioritisation and communication abilities, ideally in a fast-paced, product-led organisation;
- Someone open to change, not simply satisfied with the status quo;
- Interest in the travel/ tourism industry and digital technology/ developments;
- Customer obsession, putting our guests, owners, and team at the heart of everything.

First 6 months success? 
- Understand how we tick in Haven Product & Technology, the wider organisation, and particularly your product tribes/ squads.
- Understand our data - what we have, where it is, how it's being used, how we ensure legal compliance, current implementation processes and data schemas, etc.
- Take ownership of digital data implementation, quickly becoming the primary contact in this space.
