We are currently looking for an Animal Assistant to join our team. Applicants must have both experience and true love for animals. The job role will entail:
1. Cleaning of all animal areas including dog, cat, goats and other animals.
2. Dog walking
3. Feeding and giving medication
4. Vet runs
5. Dealing with the public and manning reception, working with volunteers
6. Have a basic understanding of computer programs
7. Have a full driving license
8. Have a love for animals
Applicants must be confident around all animals including animals which have behavioural problems and may need training. This job is physically and mentally demanding and can be working in all kinds of weather. There will also be times where you will work on your own so will need to be self-motivated but also happy to be part of the team. This job role is a part time position with days off being Monday, Tuesday, Tursday and Saturday so will need to be prepared to work Sundays. We also can't be flexible with these days or times.
The job role is part time (Wednesday, Friday and Sunday), 8am to 5pm, 3 days a week (24 hours a week) including weekends and the rate is minimum wage.
There will be an interview style working trial day if your application is successful.
