Job description

Salary: Up to £40,000 plus Veolia benefits including a company bonus, car/allowance and enhanced pension
Location: Hybrid - with weekly travel to Northern England

What you'll be doing:
You will oversee the feed standards, quality and compliance of food waste into high-quality Animal Feed, ensuring sustainable operations whilst fostering stakeholder relationships.
You will design our Animal Feed processes, achieve necessary accreditations and lead daily activities within the quality department to ensure finished products are manufactured to safety and quality standards.
And by ensuring high quality Animal Feed is produced at our centres and overseeing compliance of factory to farm gatekeeping, you will play a critical role in ensuring we can achieve ecological transformation by helping our clients meet their food waste reduction commitments.
What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in a compliance role in Animal Feed operations, including experience of working with accreditation bodies such as FEMAS, UFAS and TASCC
  • Good understanding of regulatory bodies such as APHA and Trading Standards
  • Curiosity, with the ability to learn quickly and excellent organisational and time management skills
  • You will be passionate about preventing the climate crisis and want to play a part in the bigger picture at Veolia.
  • Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and the Google suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides).
