Job description - the role
On behalf of Deutsche Bank, we are looking for a Anti-Financial Crime Analytics Analystfor a 6 months with possibility of extension contract based in London (Hybrid).

Key responsibilities
- Review the existing control environment and identify control gaps or new controls required to create a robust control environment
- Liaise with the SMEs to design and draft a new controls in line with the bank's risk appetite and risk framework.
- Work with the stakeholders to provide regular reporting and assurances to ensure the controls are running effectively and efficiently
- Responsible for planning and delivering enhancements to the Name and Transaction Screening operating model across AFC and business line functions globally
- Responsible for coordinating with senior AFC, business units, and operations stakeholder and where required Change and IT functions to drive delivery of required changes
- Design and lead workshops, manage issues and risks, escalating where required to ensure timely mitigation and remediation
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience within the area of Anti Financial Crime, Sanctions and Embargoes, as well as knowledge of national and international regulations related to Sanctions and Embargoes, KYC, PEP and Adverse Media.
- Excellent data and analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret and draw conclusions from big data sets using excel pivot tables, etc.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with demonstrated ability to influence across globally dispersed teams.
- Experience working with control functions, policy teams, and external regulatory frameworks and bodies in the financial sector.
