SalaryService Care Legal are recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking an Anti-Social Behaviour Lawyer to join their team on a locum basis. Please find below further details with regards to the position and the role.
ROLE: Litigation Lawyer
LOCATION: East London / Hybrid working
RATE: £35.00 to £40.00 per hour
CONTRACT: 3 months with possibility of extension
Please note that this would require office attendance 2 days per week.
The Role of the Litigation Lawyer
- To manage a challenging caseload of ASBO matters through to completion
- You will be line managed by Senior Lawyers and supported by legal officers and paralegals in the team
- To undertake advocacy in County and Magistrates Courts and Tribunals
The Person
- A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a current practising certificate
- Experience in managing a caseload of ASBO matters through to completion would be essential
- Previous experience of working within a public organisation would be highly desirable
