Your Mission...
As our Azure Application Architect, you’ll be at the helm of our most ambitious projects. You’ll engage in diverse, high-impact customer-facing projects, from leading application modernizations to spearheading cloud-native implementations. Your mission is to bring customers architectural visions to life, crafting state-of-the-art solutions that set new industry standards.
What You'll Do...
- Innovate Relentlessly: Transform visionary architectures into cutting-edge, cloud-native solutions that make a real impact.
- Strategic Design: Assess customer needs and design bespoke solutions that leverage both Microsoft and third-party technologies, using PaaS, DevOps, and advanced application coding.
- Pioneer Modernization: Use your deep industry knowledge to develop groundbreaking application modernization products and solutions.
- Ensure Excellence: Deliver solutions that excel in performance, security, scalability, and resilience.
- Build Relationships: Forge deep, strategic relationships with key IT decision-makers, driving long-term cloud adoption.
- Collaborate and Create: Work closely with our Azure Architects and Engineers to create and evolve complex, enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Stay Ahead: Keep your skills sharp and stay on the cutting edge of market trends and competitive insights. Share your knowledge with the broader technical community through User Groups and public events.
What We're Looking For..
- Experience: At least three years of success in managing complex projects, architecture, design, implementation, and support of highly distributed applications and data platforms.
- Relationship Guru: Proven ability to build deep technical relationships and manage diverse stakeholder interests.
- Problem Solver: Expert in resolving customer issues using cloud technologies.
- Collaborative Communicator: Strong in driving collaborative decisions and resolving conflicts with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Leadership: A natural leader who can orchestrate and influence virtual teams, ensuring successful project implementations. Comfortable presenting to all audience sizes and levels.
- Certified Expert: Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and Azure DevOps Engineer Associate (or on the pathway to achieve these certifications).
Your Technical tool kit will need to include...
- Expertise in cloud application development solutions (PaaS, Serverless, API Management).
- Proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry).
- Skilled in continuous integration technologies (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledgeable in web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture, and Agile practices.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages: C#, Java, Node.js, Go, Python, Ruby on Rails, Pig/Hive.
- Experience with development environments (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code).
- Skilled in scalable architectures using Azure App Service, API Management, serverless technologies, container orchestration, and microservice frameworks.
- Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD toolchains (Azure DevOps, GitHub).
