Job Title: Appointment Booking Clerk

Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 9am-5pm (full time or part time)

Pay: £11.45 per hour

What you'll be responsible for:

• Registering of new patient referrals on our PAS system that have come via email and ERS (Electronic Referral System) on to our internal system ERMS and allocate for clinical review. Details will need to be checked against referral and NHS Spine to ensure accurate.
• Dealing with incoming calls and emails
• General admin duties- filing, scanning and photocopying

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

• Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
• Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Previous admin experience
• Previous registration knowledge or experience
• Previous NHS experience
• NHS System Knowledge- PAS, ERS and NHS Spine (desirable)
