APPOINTMENT OF THE CLERK (CHIEF EXECUTIVE)

The Musicians’ Company encourages, supports andpromotes musical education and performance of the highest professional standards.

We wish to appoint a full-time Clerk to start inSeptember 2024. The Clerk reports to the Court of the Company and is based atour offices in the Barbican.

The Musicians’ Company is unusual in that itcombines all the civic and ceremonial roles of an historic City of LondonLivery Company, together with administering a wide variety of activitiesinvolving music. These include awarding high-profile scholarships, prizes andmedals, arranging competitions and the operation of our substantial YoungArtists Programme.

The role of Clerk requires an exceptionalleader with a broad skill-set to manage and guide the evolution of the Companythrough the next decade.
