As one of the largest County Councils in the country we have ambitious plans for our employees and our residents. We aim to be a great employer and pride ourselves on the range of potential career paths we have available to all, together with the support that we can offer you to reach your full potential.

We have six fixed term apprentice contracts for 15 months.

  • Municipal Buildings, Boston
  • Nettleham Head-Quarters, Lincoln

What we offer you

As an apprentice joining our Business Support team you’ll receive a warm welcome, a chance to develop existing skills - and learn new ones - plus lots of scope for future career progression. You could work for any one of our varied departments across the organisation, including Children's Services, Highways or Fire and Rescue. You'll also have the opportunity to spend time with other apprentices, shadow and complete off the job training across different teams during your working day.

Upon completing this apprenticeship, you will be awarded with a Customer Service Level 2 Qualification. Also, being local government, don’t forget the comprehensive benefits package we offer, including generous holiday entitlement (25 days plus bank holidays), discount schemes and flexible working.

Further details can be found in our rewards and benefits brochure

You can contact Recruitment (RecruitmentBS@lincolnshire.gov.uk) who'll be happy to answer any questions.
