Apprentice Assistant Information Manager

Location: Leicester

The Leicester BIM Services team is currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven school leaver who is looking to start their career in the construction industry as anApprentice Assistant Information Manager. This exciting role would give you the opportunity to learn and earn as we support you in developing your knowledge of BIM Services.

 
As an Assistant Information Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the BIM Services Team in the successful and efficient delivery of a project, through all stages, to ensure a high-quality service and the best technical solution and digital deliverables are achieved for the client.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for ensuring you understand the scope of services, obligations, requirements and standards to be implemented on the projects you are supporting.
  • Accountable for keeping the BIM Services Team informed at all times on matters relating to 'BIM' delivery across your 'BIM' projects.
  • Responsible for the delivery of asset information from project inception to completion.

Our ideal apprentice will have:
  • A full UK driving license (desirable).
  • An interest in construction and engineering.
  • Confidence when multi-tasking across multiple projects and working to tight deadlines.
  • Motivation to progress onto further qualifications to continuously professionally develop.
  • At least 5 GCSEs including Maths and English 9-4/A*-C or equivalent.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Coordination and great problem-solving skills.
  • Good self-motivation.
  • A good eye for detail.
  • The Ability to work well in a team.
  • Great written, verbal communication and client facing skills, combined with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
