The succesful Apprentice's main duties will be split into 3 main areas.
- Marketing - social and web as well as creating content
- Networking and events
- occasional office duties
- Managing and maintaining the internal database, including invitation lists for Chambers events/newsletters etc
- Website maintenance and social media - posting and updating news items, blog articles and member CVs
- Supporting the completion of legal directories, including: organising researcher interviews, gathering data and collating submissions.
- Support in the organisation of marketing events, both on-site and online, from start to finish (some travel outside of London and out of hours attendance may be required).
- Designing and updating promotional materials and editing videos
- Liaising with external companies: web/design agency; venues and venue-finding services; promotional companies; IT support etc.
- Various administrative duties as required – processing invoices/updating marketing budget/booking couriers
Applicants should be literate and numerate. Grade C/4 and above in English Maths and IT are required
Training to be provided
You will be completing the Level 3 Multi-channel Marketer Apprenticeship
(N.B. Formally Digital Marketer Level 3. As of Dec 2023, Digital Marketer has been updated to Multi-Channel Marketer. This new standard expands on the curriculum and provides learning on all aspects of marketing instead of solely focusing on digital marketing.)
As a Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice, you help with planning, creating and implementing, impactful marketing campaigns across digital platforms. As part of the Marketing team, the multi-channel marketers will contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. They will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.
Training is a blended learning delivery model: online learning, classroom sessions, work-based training, independent research, workplace projects, one-to-one support and training. Your training will include:

For the Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship, there is an end point assessment. This is done in the final part of the apprenticeship and is how the apprentice is judged on their learning and will include:
- Producing a written Report
- Portfolio of evidence based work
- Presentation and Q&A
- Professional Discussion based on Portfolio
