- Busikids is looking to recruit an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their vibrant, friendly, child care team.
- As an apprentice here at Busikids you will learn the skills of a Nursery Practitioner whilst training toward a relevant level 3 qualification.
- You will be supported and will support other staff by helping to ensure high standards of provision is offered that promotes the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of all children attending Busikids, whilst promoting the aims and philosophy of the Nursery.
· Primary activities are to engage directly with children whilst working as part of the Busikids staff team and as directed by the staff and management with any age group within the Nursery.
· Being aware of the individual needs of the children, to participate in a full curriculum, providing activities which actively promote children’s development that are stimulating, varied and fun.
· Promote a positive sense of racial and cultural identity, understanding, respecting and sharing ethnic and cultural differences. Ensuring all activities reflect positively the linguistic, religious and cultural diversity of the community and equality on gender, race and culture.
· You will need to have a 'can do' outlook and a love of children; a sense of humour is also a bonus.

You will need to have your Maths and English either level 2 functional skills or GCSE level 4 – 9.
Working hours will be an average of 37.5 hours a week, working alternate long days and shorter days.
For example, 8am to 6pm followed by 8am to 2pm for two weeks then 12 midday to 6pm and 8am to 6pm for two weeks.
The salary is currently £240 per week.
