The Apprentice Office Administrator Role:
You will be responsible for office operations, internal coordination and other tasks, including but not limited to;
Office & Business Administration
- Overseeing the day-to-day administration and running of the London & New York offices including supplies, catering needs, and supporting with management of vendors and suppliers
- Managing the London Office switchboard in a warm & confident manner
- Meeting and greeting clients in reception & ensuring the London office is a welcoming environment for clients and the Plural team
- Assisting in the co-ordination and preparation of meeting rooms and arranging catering for meetings
- Booking couriers and managing outbound postal needs
- Managing Plural's enquiry inbox and the People Team inbox
- Monitor health & safety requirements & compliance
- Contributing to the overall effectiveness of the office by introducing new ways of doing things and improving day to day practices in response to operational needs
IT
- Managing IT administration including onboarding & offboarding employees and freelance team members
- First point of contact for triaging IT issues and liaising & coordinating with our external IT support to solve problems
- Management of all AV equipment in the office to solve basic issues and ensure regular maintenance with external providers
Event Management
- Helping organise training events, social activities and annual offsites including researching venues or suppliers
Database & HR Administration
- Assisting with onboarding of new employees & offboarding of employees leaving the company
- Administration ad hoc duties & database/document creation & management

- Has good verbal and written communication skills and computer literacy

- 5 x GCSE's at grade 4-9 (A*-C) or above (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- You must not already have a qualification in a similar subject to Business Administration at the same or higher level
Apprenticeship:
You will undertake an apprenticeship in Business Administration (Level 3) over an ~15 month period to further support your professional development. You'll have specific time blocked out of your working week to further your professional development through virtual training sessions, self-study and internal training sessions. Find out more here.
Office Location:
London
Our office is in the heart of Covent Garden, ideally situated for the buzz of London. We have an open modern space, filled with plants and natural light, with lots of areas for collaboration and discussions, as well as a small roof terrace for Friday night drinks in the summertime. This role will be fully office-based, so you must be able to travel into our London office.
