Apprentice Plumber

Job Description

Based at Fairmuir House 365 Clepington Road, you will work full time, 37 hours for a fixed term of 4 years. The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area. Funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19 or disabled/care experienced applicants up to the age of 29. Requirements

You will have 3 National 5s, including English, Maths or Application of Maths and one other relevant subject.

Responsibilities

You will be working under the direct instruction of a tradesperson, to develop the skills and knowledge for the chosen trade, whilst demonstrating an enthusiasm and willingness to achieve a high degree of competency. You will also undertake college studies and must complete the chosen development training programme.

The Individual

You will have the ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative and have good communication skills. You will be enthusiastic and good timekeeping and good with attendance. You will have the ability to attend college as part of apprenticeship.
