About the Role Harrogate College is seeking an experienced assessor to support science apprentices on their journey to success. Harrogate College currently delivers Level 3 Pharmacy apprenticeships.  We are at the heart of our community, and we pride ourselves on developing outstanding links with employers to meet changing economic needs while nurturing high-level skills and providing successful routes to apprenticeships and employment. What You Will Do Managing your own caseload, arranging site visits and meeting with employers Monitoring progress and completing progress reviews Liaising with, and provide feedback to the employer on progress against the Apprenticeship knowledge, skills and behaviours  To produce and monitor individual learning plans for learners and contribute to their updating Lead, contribute and participate in the assessment and quality assurance procedures for all programmes/ training provision, including Internal Verification.  Contribute to the review and evaluation process in order to ensure year on year improvements.   About You Hold a specialist qualification in the curriculum subject area. Be registered with the GPhC.  Possess A1 Assessor units or a willingness to work towards. Level 3 teaching qualification or willingness to complete within a set timeframe. Previous experience of assessing and an understanding of the Apprenticeship Standards. Experience of teaching, training peers or transferring skills to others. Substantial industry experience in a relevant occupational area. Understanding and experience of current working practices within the occupational area. Experience of giving clear and constructive feedback to students to guide learning.
