Salary: £42,564 Per Annum
Days/Hours of work:   Full time, 36 days per week (Our core hours are 10am to 3pm and we are open to discuss working patterns/hours to fit around these hours)
About the role
Hampton Court Palace or Tower of London (with hybrid working and days at other palaces when necessary)
We are a team of people who love and look after six of the most wonderful palaces in the world. We create spaces for spirits to stir and be stirred.
A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an Apprenticeship Programme Manager to develop, deliver and manage a sector-leading Apprenticeship Programme which will be at the heart of Historic Royal Palaces’ ambition to become a charity for everyone. The aim of this programme will be to offer non-traditional career entry routes into the Heritage sector and build a talent pipeline for our charity.
You will be responsible for developing this programme from the start! Reporting to an HR Manager, you will be responsible for agreeing with key stakeholders the objectives of the programme, identifying where within the charity apprentices can be placed, as well as scoping out the standards and training providers we will work with.
You will also be involved in developing the policies, practices and support framework for apprentices and managers who are involved in the programme, as well as designing/delivering training as and when required.
Another key part of this role will be to manage the recruitment activity for our Apprenticeship Programme – identifying and attending appropriate recruitment fairs and other apprenticeship events to promote our opportunities and supporting managers in the assessment and selection of applicants.
About you
This role will involve a great deal of working in partnership with teams across the charity as well as external providers. Therefore, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to influence where necessary and coach/mentor the programme’s cohorts.
You will be self-motivated and proactive in your approach to talent development.
In addition to this, to be successful in this role you will already have a good knowledge of apprenticeship standards and significant experience of working with apprenticeship providers, or even having experience in designing an Apprenticeship Programme.
In return, we can offer you a fantastic role within a friendly HR team with a lot of opportunity to become involved in helping to shape the future direction of the Charity. The pay and benefits for the role are as follows:
Salary: £42,564 per annum (Pay Range 6)
Benefits include:
•    Hybrid working
•    Enhanced holiday entitlement
•    Generous Employer’s Pension Contribution (up to 11%)
•    Annual pay review & bonus
•    Critical Illness Cover & Life Assurance
•    Family friendly policies and benefits
•    Staff discounts and membership to all palaces
•    Closing date: Sunday 14 January 2023
We have adopted a hybrid model of part working from home and part working from site, we are open to discussing what best works for individuals and their work life balance whilst also delivering the business requirements.
