A well-established and leading contractor are looking for an experienced Approved Electrician to join their Electrical LV & HV team on a permanent basis. This will be to carry out Electrical works on various Military Bases around the East of England area and willing to travel to works across the wider area.
Approved Electrician Requirements
- Electrical qualifications – JIB/ECS Approved electrician Including for City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing 18th Edition Amendment 2 wiring regulations.
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety requirements including COSHH and RIDDOR
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Experience in commercial and industrial installations
- Must have ability to obtain ‘SC’ level Security Clearance
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Ability to self-motivate and self-manage.
- Excellent communication skills.
Approved Electrician Desirable Skills
- Experience of working on electrical assets within a commercial environment
- COMPEX Parts 1-4 or willing to upskill to achieve qualification.
- Accredited First Aid qualification Knowledge of hazardous area testing.
- Accredited Health and Safety qualification.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
- Previous experience of operating in an MOD environment and/or previous SC clearance.
- IPAF
- PASMA
- SSSTS/SMSTS
Approved Electrician Package
- £18.40 per hour (JIB Rates)
- Company Vehicle
- Overtime available
- 7.30am – 4pm Monday – Friday
